In 1955, STAMATIOU General Partnership was established by the brothers Alexandros, Dimitris, Theodosis and Paraskevas Stamatiou. The aim of the company was the production of traditional confectionery and halva in Greece and abroad. Meanwhile, the company was being expanded to the commercial sector too.
 
In 1992, the company was converted to a public limited one and the children of Stamatiou brothers took key roles in the firm being responsible for the management, control, production and quality departments of the company.

Due to its continuous growth in turnover and sales, STAMATIOU S.A. is classified into one of the most consistently growing companies in the confectionery industry. This is the reason that our company is being differentiated by other competitive companies and it exclusively collaborates with multinational companies from many countries around the world.

In 2000, STAMATIOU S.A. has been approved as a Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Assessed Company to ISO 9001:2000. Furthermore, in 2004, our company has been also become HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) certified by the same provider. Nowadays, the company has modern refurbished facilities while it is entirely staffed with well trained workforce according to our philosophy of offering our customers the highest quality sweets at competitive prices.
